Flat Wrap volume blow dry:

Learn how to easily do a volume wrap dry on fine hair.

• Step One

  Start with damp hair. Section hair into (3) manageable sections. Take a section from the top of the crown to behind the hair. Twist the hair up and clip it out of the way. Do the same thing on the other side. Take your third section from the back, twist it up and clip out of the way.

  TOOLS NEEDED: Hair clips, blow dryer with nozzle attachment, hair clips, comb, flat bristle brush

• Step Two

  Divide back section into two sections and begin to blow dry directing the nozzle from mid shaft to ends. Take another section down and divide into two manageable sections. Pull section of hair out from the scalp and blow dry down at an angle. To create more volume, elevate your section higher as you blow dry from mid shaft to roots.

• Step Three

  Once at the top of the head, over-direct your section forward and blow dry from root to mid shaft through the ends. When working on the side sections, clip the hair in the back and top out of the way. Continue this technique working your brush with tension, following with the nozzle of the blow dryer.

• Step Four

  Take a horseshoe section in the front and blow dry everything down, over-directing for volume. On your last sections, elevate the hair as much as possible when blow drying for maximum volume. Continue until hair is 100% dry.
